Griffins Pizza House hosted the Lawrence County CEO class on Wednesday. Tyler Griffin, owner took the class on a tour of the business. Griffins Pizza House has a great menu with many options. We were very impressed with how Tyler utilizes his space to meet the Pizza Houses’ needs. He talked a lot about the many aspects of business ownership. He stressed the importance of good financial management. Knowing your food costs and overhead will aid as you prepare your budget. Labor costs are always a huge part of any budget. Tyler spoke about mentors. He has had a mentor for a number of years. This individual is there to listen and provide help and feedback. Tyler reminded each student how important making connections can be for a business. These connections can open a number of doors.
