Following your passion, developing a detailed business plan and listening to the community are just three factors that Jared and Morgan Arnold felt important when opening their business Route 50 CrossFit. Thursday the Lawrence County CEO class visited Route 50 CrossFit. Morgan Arnold talked with the class about the “why” they opened their business. Both Morgan and Jared have been members of the CrossFit community for a several years. With the local CrossFit gym closing they identified the need for their product. After research they secured their location and funding for their CrossFit gym. Morgan spoke about how with Jared’s business background and her communications experience they make a great team. She did stress that it takes a lot of hard work, determination and sacrifice to own and run a business. Paying attention to the business environment is key to staying ahead of their competitors.
