Owning a small business has many perks but also challenges. Rachel Shaffer, owner Rachel Michele’s talked with the Lawrence County CEO class last Thursday. Rachel shared with the class she opened her business days before COVID shut down businesses. She was not sure how her business might survive. As with any business she had loan payments, utilities, taxes, insurance etc to pay with little income coming in. She was able to sell product by delivering to the curb and eventually opening to indoor services. Rachel shared how important good customer service is to any business.
