It is always great to have CEO alumni visit the class. Today, Karleigh Shick, CEO 2022 stopped by and talked with the class. Karleigh is a sophomore at Purdue University majoring in Supply Chain Management. During her year in CEO, Karleigh worked her business Route 1 Designs. She continues to operate her business today.
Karleigh talked with the class about her business plan. She shared with them how the different sections of the business plan were so important to her business success. Keeping accurate financial records is a must. Knowing your cost per item will help as you determine your product/service price. Don’t procrastinate. With a busy school/work life time to work your business can be limited. Karleigh reminded the class that the connections you make through this program will last forever. Through her connections she has been able to obtain employment with a couple local businesses. Thank you Karleigh for sharing your CEO experience with the class. It was great having you visit class.
