Last Wednesday the Lawrence County CEO class visited Dorney’s Pumpkin Patch. The owner Kim Dorney talked about her passion for her business. While working full time she and her family started their pumpkin patch. Kim works many hours to prepare the land where she grows pumpkins. Her preparation begins during the summer and the season lasts into late October/early November. Kim has many groups who visit the patch. The variety of activities are amazing. Kim reminded the group that providing excellent customer service is essential to business success. Hard work and dedication will always pay off.
