Reading and understanding financial reports is extremely important to any business. Tracking revenue and expenses and determining profit or loss provides information as a business develops a business plan. Deborah Mitchell, Executive Vice President/Chief Risk Officer at Trust Bank in Olney presented a very informative workshop hosted by the Lawrence County Chamber to the class. The class learned the importance of knowing where your business sits financially is a must for business development. Deborah helped the class understand why they need to keep detailed, accurate financial records.
