Do you know what it takes to run a city? Tuesday Sumner Mayor Betty Brian and Sumner City Administrator Travis Trainer hosted the Lawrence County CEO class and shared the many aspects of city operations. The class heard about how the city council is organized and their function. Travis talked about various city projects and what it takes to fund and manage these projects. They both stressed how important networking can be to their businesses. It was great to tour the new Sumner City Hall and meet other City personnel.
