Wednesday the Lawrence County CEO class hosted Michelle Brooks with the Illinois SBDC. Michelle talked with the group about what it takes to own their own business. Opening your business can certainly have its ups and downs. Finding something you love will help smooth out those down days. Human Resource issues, inventory control and bookkeeping are items that can really take some strong time management. Having a detailed business plan is a must.
